Field Day Results Are In!

The JARS Field Day team earned 3352 points this year, and once again placed First in the West Gulf Division and in North Texas, as well as making 12th place nationally in Class 2F. Our hard work paid off! Thanks to the Burleson EOC for hosting this event; and thanks to each of you who helped to make it such a great success!
New Meeting Location!

The new monthly meeting location for JARS is the Mansfield Emergency Operations Center (EOC). We will have our monthly meetings in the EOC on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM. (Park in the east parking lot and go in the east side door.) Thanks so much to Tom Legler, Emergency Management Coordinator for permission to use the EOC as our new meeting place.
JARS Makes a Showing at Field Day

We are proud to announce that JARS placed 1st in NTX, 3rd in West Gulf Division and 26th in the nation at the 2008 Field Day. Great job everyone!
Linking to the County

We are pleased to announce that JARS 70cm repeater at 443.775 is being linked with the KY5O repeater in Cleburne in cooperation with the Johnson County Wide Area Repeater Association. These 2 repeaters when linked, provide 95% or better coverage of Johnson County, TX.
